Kim Gijoo, born in 1984 in South Korea and based in Paris, graduated from Paris VIII University with a degree in contemporary art and new media. A member of Sonamou and a student of Lee Bae, he develops abstract works in charred wood, inspired by the relationship between humankind and nature. Exhibited in international galleries and museums, and president of AJAC, he participates in numerous art events and his works are included in important public and private collections in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
