Hoon Moreau

훈모로

Hoon Moreau was born in Korea and currently lives and works in France.

She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the prestigious Seoul National University in 1991 and obtained a Master’s degree from the École Camondo in Paris (class of 1998).

Following this training, she began her career in architecture, notably with Wilmotte & Associés, marking a major milestone in her artistic journey. For 20 years, as a project team leader for museums, palaces, luxury hotels, and private residences, Hoon Moreau worked in interior architecture and developed furniture design.

Her artistic work, of exceptional quality, enabled her to participate in contemporary art fairs and gallery exhibitions in Paris, Luxembourg, London, New York, Shanghai, and Seoul from 2015 onward.

Two major solo exhibitions of Hoon Moreau’s works took place in Korea in 2018 and 2024, at the POSCO Art Museum in Seoul and the Gyeomjae Jeongseon Art Museum, respectively.

Her works have also entered the collections of the POSCO Art Museum in Seoul (in 2018), the collections of the Korea Kulturhaus Wien in Austria (Garden of Korean Poets – Yoon Dong Ju) in 2022, and the Cernuschi Museum in 2024.
